This tattoo is super special, my artist and I have been meaning to get around to it for MONTHS and we finally did, it turned out so awesome! It’s my actual wisdom tooth that I had removed last year. The procedure was gnarly as hell, it took two hours and I had seven anesthetic injections. I thought she was going to dislocate my jaw! I had to be cut in half to get taken out and I had three stitches after. I got to keep my beautiful tooth and because of my intense appreciation for the beauty of teeth I wanted to get a tattoo of one, but not just any tooth, MY tooth. I gave the tooth to my tattoo artist to study and draw for a few months and he got it spot. on. It’s a perfect drawing of one half of it. It’s upside down if you can’t tell, but I love it!
It was done by Ali Selliman at Custom Collective Tattoos in Hamilton, New Zealand.
